Uphold Africa-Set to Inspire the African Youth
Uphold Africa believes the African Youth has so much to offer if given the right resources and mentoring combined with a strong network. Uphold Africa is an initiative that is created with the aim of inspiring the African youth. The initiative hopes to achieve this by bringing stories of people who are shaking grounds on the continent. This will involve telling the stories of young successful entrepreneurs, community innovators, etc in order to encourage others. It will also tell the stories of the young and upcoming ones thereby showcasing their businesses and creating awareness for them.
In the long run, Uphold Africa wants to achieve some sort of strong networking on the continent by bringing this ground-shakers together. This will in turn increase the contacts of these youths and create more opportunities for them. It also intend to create an avenue for a mentor-mentee relationship between the influencers and the young and upcoming youth looking up to them. It will also serve as a means of creating awareness for causes, for example health and environmental causes, businesses, hence improving patronage and also serve as a means of job creation to others by doing this.
Uphold Africa will also set up a donation which will be given out from time to time to any youth from any of the African countries who is able to state clearly how s(he) will go about the implementation of the fund in either on an entrepreneurial level or for community causes in Africa.
